This card is not my original design. It was part of a class by Julie Kelly at Creative Escape in Los Gatos, CA. Except, it was virtual because of 2020. I actually enjoy the virtual classes because I do not need to worry about taking a bunch of supplies with me to class and I often have extra embellishments available to make the card my own. In this case, I used some snowflakes I had left over from another project. I think all of the stamps and dies used in this interactive card is by Lawn Fawn. As you pull the tab, the bears arms move up/down. Isn’t it adorable? You cannot see it but I used some Nuvo Glitter gloss around the snow angel to give it that sparkly fresh snow look.
Another of my holiday cards! This one was super simple – the sentiment was cut from cardstock and the background was a ready to foil toner card. This one went to one of my kid’s teachers. I need a lot of holiday cards so the quicker the better but I love how this one turned out.
That flood of holiday cards I mentioned in my last post? Yeah, it will be more of a trickle. I am slow on the editing and uploading but have lots of cards to show you.
This card was made with mostly Stampin’ Up! products, including this gorgeous flocked vellum. The tag I printed with my home printer and foiled it in red using the Minc machine (the photo makes the red foil look black sadly).
Get ready for a flood of holiday themed cards!
This card was made with mostly Echo Park products. Simple but festive – I used this snowflake print from their “Here Comes Santa Claus” paper collection and the Merry & Bright tag comes from Echo Park|Carte Bella “Hello Christmas” line.
The snowflake die cuts match the snowflakes on the printed paper and the whole thing is bordered by Craft Perfect mirror card. A detail that is impossible to see here is that I painted some iridescent shimmer onto the snow flakes which is very pretty in real life.
I have not been active on this website in over a year but I have still been crafting. I am working on getting up-to-date on card photos and then maybe I will show a peek at my newly designed craft room (yes, I changed it again).
Here are a few cards for now…
Happy Anniversary card for my parents. This card was with a Theroweb|Unity toner card. I foiled it using the Minc in a Brutus Monroe foiled called “Purple Sketch” and then colored the flowers with Copic markers. It is bordered by a purple mirror card by Craft Perfect.
Birthday card! It is impossible to see it in the photo but the main design is bordered with a white glitter cardstock. There is also glitter on the candle. Cupcake is a die set by My Favorite Things and scalloped frame is a die by Lawn Fawn. The ‘Sweet Wishes’ stamp came from Stampin’ Up’s “Hello Cupcake” set. I will be making more in this style soon!
